Hues of watercolor is back again with it’s 14th edition, yet another exciting watercolor workshop, this time with veteran senior artist Sri. Vijay Achrekar.

This 14th edition of  hues of watercolor workshop will see the eminent artist Sri. Vijay Achrekar taking us into a magical world of art through his watercolor paintings. And we made it premium where we can have limited crowd and more exclusive interactions with artist.

About artist:

Vijay Achrekar is a veteran artist whose artworks have been widely recognized and appreciated by many. His artworks have been showcased in many exhibitions, mostly landscape paintings and has garnered wide attention.

He has been invited by Coloring India Foundation for giving a session of Watercolor Workshop by teaching his style of watercolor painting and also come up with beautiful paintings.

Early life

Vijay Achrekar was born in 1967 in Mumbai. He was formally educated in art, receiving his diploma in Drawing and painting from the prestigious Raheja School of Art in Mumbai in the year 1988.

He has since then been a recipient of several awards for his landscape and portrait works.

His appreciated styles

Sir Vijay’s artworks have been noted for the use of bright myriad shades of Indian culture and for the realistic depiction of women.

The most critically acclaimed artworks were the depictions of the traumatic situations post 26/11 attacks in Mumbai. His abstracts were beautifully executed having diverse interpretations and strong implications in the viewers minds.

Despite adding a touch of modernization to his work, his art remains realistic and precise.

Vijay feels he enjoys working with different mediums with equal ease and also loves experimenting with them, which can be seen through the creativity of his artworks.

Awards

The most notable awards and honours for his work, are the Annual exhibition award for Landscape from his Alma mater, L.S. Raheja School Of Art, Mumbai (1985, 1986), the Chandrakant Mandare Award, Kolhapur (2006), the Bombay Art Society Award For Portrait, Mumbai, etc.

This will be the first time we will witness Sir Vijay associating with Coloring India Foundation for the Watercolor Workshop.

Who can participate:

Hues Of Watercolor 14th edition watercolor workshop in Bangalore is open to all art enthusiasts, beginners or intermediates and those who want to learn and experiment with watercolor painting.

Unlike any other watercolor Painting Workshop in Bangalore, we have designed this Workshop in such a manner that you learn painting from scratch, even if you have no prior training or experience with watercolor painting or if you are an intermediate.

Workshop Fee Structure:

The Fee for the 2-day workshop is ₹ 5999 ,  that is inclusive of  Basic Art Materials. This workshop is limited to a maximum of 16 individuals only.
