Refund & Cancellation Policy

 

This policy is governed by Fine Arts Gurukul (“We”, “Us”, or “Our”) and applies to all programs offered under:

  • Pencil & Chai (Adults)

  • Junior Pencil & Chai (Kids)

  • Sampratishta School of Fine Arts & Design


1. Cancellation Policy

 

  • Cancellation requests must be submitted within 24 hours of enrolment or fee payment

  • Requests made after this period will not be considered valid

  • Once the course has commenced, no cancellations will be accepted


2. Refund Policy

 

Fine Arts Gurukul follows a structured learning model. Therefore, refunds are limited.

Refunds will be processed only under the following conditions:

  • Within 24 hours of registration:

    → 40% refund (60% of the fee + applicable charges will be deducted)

  • After 24 hours:

    → No refund will be applicable

 

The date of payment will be considered as the date of registration.

Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method or bank account.


3. Course Policy

Academic Structure

  • Courses are conducted over defined timelines with structured modules

  • Sessions must be attended regularly to ensure continuity of learning

  • Alternate sessions may be allowed (if available), based on batch schedules


Attendance & Continuity

  • Prolonged absence may affect participation and course progression

  • In certain cases, continued absence may lead to discontinuation from the program


Certification

  • For internal programs: Certification is issued by Fine Arts Gurukul upon completion

  • For affiliated programs: Certification is issued by the respective institution or university

 


4. Re-Registration Policy

  • Re-registration requests may be considered within 6 months of course start date

  • A re-registration fee (up to 50%) may apply

  • Any fee revision will be applicable at the time of rejoining

  • Re-registration is subject to availability of batches/programs


5. Additional Conditions

  • No refund will be issued in case of:

    • Voluntary withdrawal

    • Non-attendance or no-show

     


6. Code of Conduct & Termination

 

Fine Arts Gurukul reserves the right to take disciplinary action in case of:

  • Academic misconduct (plagiarism, cheating)

  • Disruptive or inappropriate behavior

 

Actions may include:

  • Assignment rejection

  • Academic penalties

  • Suspension or removal from the program
